We are dedicated to providing quality care to animals with
eye problems. Most of our patients are referrals from area veterinarians. The staff at AES work closely with your pet’s primary veterinarian to gather as much relevant patient history as possible.

What is a veterinary ophthalmologist?
Veterinary ophthalmologists have received at least 3 years' additional training specifically in the treatment and surgery of the animal eye. Doctors must pass a rigorous 2 to 3-day examination before being certified as a veterinary ophthalmologist.

We treat animals with eye problems.
The majority of our patients are dogs and cats, but we also treat rabbits and other small domestic pets, birds and occasionally exotic animals at the Milwaukee County Zoo.
